From the beautiful Stradbally Hall, the academy operates on a full and half board basis, with a state-of-the-art gym, outdoor gym, indoor training area, grass pitches, video analysis room, saunas and ice bath.

Rugby Academy Ireland was founded by two decorated internationals (player and coach) with a shared vision: give aspiring players a genuine pathway into the professional game through elite coaching, education and character development. Rugby Academy Ireland use many international coaches and tutors to execute the programme, to ensure the newest trends are followed.
A former Springbok international player, Dan is recognised as a World Rugby educator. In Ireland he has coached Leinster U18, U19 and Women's teams as well as Irish students, Irish youths and AIL sides.
Johan was the Sri Lankan National coach, winning 2 Asian Nations Cups, and is also a World Rugby Educator. He is an IRB qualified coach who coached AIL in Ireland and was head of rugby at the former French national coach Philippe Saint Andre's academy in France.
